Microplane
In 1990, the original Microplane was invented merely as a new type of woodworking tool. Microplane, as we now know it, is a complete range of kitchen graters for every type of grating possible. Microplane graters' tiny razor-like edges are formed by a process called photo-etching by which holes are dissolved with a chemical, creating ultra-sharp cutting edges that finely slice the food instead of tearing or shredding.
